My new headphones
« on: February 09, 2013, 06:52:24 PM »
They are not rockin' like my computer speakers, but they'll do.  http://steelseries.com/products/games/counter-strike-global-offensive/steelseries-siberia-v2-counterstrike-global-offensive-edition

I don't like wireless headphones.  You always have to re-charge them.  And more than once they've die in the middle on a movie.  OTV had a nice set of 7.1 wireless for 180.00.  But I hate wireless..!  So I bought the Siberia-V2, only 100.00 bucks.  They do have a very FULL sound.

those are perfect for home, the model you bough sammy is for playing online games, it has counter strike art on them, so it must be have very good audio quality

i want new headphones too, my priorities are weight, size, portability and audio quality in a decent price, only sony and philips cover those requirements and are easy to find here

sammy2fish , looks like nice headphones. I read a couple reviews on them and they all said they had good sound quality. Long time Sennheiser user here as I have found them to be the most comfortable and the sound quality is good but they can't come near to my Mirage bipolar speakers lol .

Great to see someone on the forums from Saskatchewan. I was born in Yorkton but have lived away from the province most of my life. I did spend a summer up in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan.

Cheers

Wireless Vs wired .......  with wireless I am intermittently wired while recharging, otherwise I am free of wires; with wired I am always tethered.
I prefer wireless  ;)

I am not a lover of volume controls in-line on the cable.
I much prefer the control on the headset.

They look like a very nice set of headphones ......  comfortable and very good sound.

May you have great enjoyment from them .......  while others sleep  ;D ;D

Have you tested the Mic yet?

No, I haven't test the retractable mic, yet.

BUT the cups in-close my ears are so great..!  The sound is so much better than my older 40.00 steel headphones.

I am listening to a ZZ-Top album right now... these new headphones are rockin'.

The sound is so in-closed.  It is so, so close to my head.  I have never had headphones so real, before.....

Get good quality and get good sound.
There is no problem at all with using wireless ...  it is easily capable.

In fact I have used my first pair of Bluetooth connected headphones recently and am pleasantly surprised at the quality .... using HiFi (A2DP)

Do not buy Bose!  You can get better value for the money with other brands.  I am not a fan of Sony but I find their headphones are not bad for the price.  There may be other brands with even better value.  I just happen to be familiar with a couple of Sony head sets that I own.
