big problems, usually who steals a specific bike, they know all the tricks in it, including where to find all the possible installed alarms it could have

some of those alarms are easy to find, others are hard to find, the best ones are installed inside the front or rear lights, the cable ends hidden between the other cables and connects to the battery

And then You wrap the whole bike in aluminum foil or park it in Faraday's cage till the beacon is removed :P

afik, that won't work with every transmitter(some more powerful than others), it would be better to remove the battery?  not sure if those alarms have a smaller internal battery to avoid this

i heard there is a alarm that disables the motor when the motorcycle is away from a rf device carried by the owner of the bike, that sounds useful and avoids the rf blocked signal

Trust me ... Cannondale bikes (as in bicycles) are premium, expensive bikes. Here's an example:

The "notice" doesn't say which model of Cannondale bike was stolen. Most Cannondale bikes start around $1200, and go all the way up to over $10,000.

for paying the price or for putting the transmitter under the seat?

some people really valuate their bikes

i personally never learned to use one so i don't see any importance in one

The biggest mistake was to warn the thief it was fitted! Given the difficulty of hiding anything in such a simple structure, the owner's only hope was to track the bike down and either confront the thief or tip off the police before the thief found it, and hope the thief didn't look very hard. Instead, he told the thief what to look for and gave him plenty of time to find it.

Not the brightest candle in the chandelier.
