You seem pretty normal to me Rudge, you know what things you like, and you honestly enjoy doing them.

It's been a mighty long week it seems, Feels like a couple of weeks ago you announced your wife was 'going to New York', maybe that was the Prelude.  ;D

I have a set of those exchangable screw driver tools, they were five bucks at an Auto shop, bought them a few months ago while out on a walk. I like walking, by myself; I know weird hey ?

I think the point is the guys' doing all the sneeky stuff that you feel you "should" be doing, cause of TV shows, or whatever socially disorientated media that puts those ideas in our heads, don't know what they really want. But you know that anyway, ...  ;)

I like to tinker around fixing stuff, it's a lot of fun. I spent about three hours fixing my electric guitars' input jack last night. Took it all apart, cleaned up all the contacts after unsoldering the wires (one had snapped off) , aligned it all so it would sit in the space comfortably, ... the joy of doing that rather than paying someone to do it, and the pleasure of hearing the cleaner tone due to cleaner connections, ... yep gee you thought you were boring.  ;D
I re-strung one of my acoustic guitars, same drill, make everything clean and tight as you re-assemble.

yes, I got rid of my wife, it went on too long and having time to meditate on the stuff you like doing is super cool nowadays.

Hang in there mate, she'll be back sooner than you know it.  ;)

T6, in order for me to get the torx tool and the T6 ;) that I needed for taking apart my knives, I had to buy a whole set of tools.

I could not find just the tool and wrenches that I needed separately.  :'( :'(

Don't drop your "Pivot" screw into a bottle of "Contact Cement"..  ::) ::)

I have a set similar to that. Lots of uses.
There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

Why does it come with two guitar picks?  ::) ;D

those guitar picks, for those who don't know, are tools, most people call them plastic tools but those have different names

those are used to disassemble laptops, cellphones and similar devices that uses not only screws to keep parts together

the density of those tools makes simple to disassemble cellphones and similar stuff without scratching or making dents on the plastic materials of the cellphone

some people use guitar picks when those tools are not available but since those guitar picks are more dense, it is possible to damage the devices with it, but with practice, it can be perfectly usable

this is the other popular tool to disassemble cellphones

but i don't like it, i prefer the "nail"(aka plastic tool) because it is simpler to use

They are too flexible for playing a guitar. More flexible than a "Light" guitar pick.

They do however,, look exactly like guitar picks. ;

not exactly identical, this is very similar to the one present in the nokia professional repair kit

but a friend used to work with a guitar pick, yes, the softer the better, if it is too hard, it will damage the plastic in the device

if you try to use one of this plastic tools to play the guitar, it probably will end broken very soon
