My daughter is getting a tattoo
« on: February 05, 2013, 02:55:42 PM »
So my daughter tells me she is getting a tattoo. I'm thinking a tiny heart or butterfly on her ankle or something but nooooo she gets a giant ass peacock plastered on her back. That is just the outline. It still has to be colored in!  :o :o :o

Just shoot her.

Wait, it looks good, actually.

Skin her when you've shot her.

I thought the same. It will be a lot better than what I saw on the superbowl the other night. Half of those guys looked like a graffiti wall in some ghetto.

It could be worse

I'm not a fan of tattoos but it's her body so it's her choice. I think there will be lots of money to be made in the future by tattoo removal technicians.

I HATE Tattoos!

Heaven stands my daughter by if she ever comes home with one .....
She knows she will hurt me with that and chances she will are slim, luckily.

It looks painful ...........  and did she tell you it is one of a pair? .......  something similar to go on the other side of her back ......  brace yourself!  ;D

One thing it has going for it ......  it will not influence job seeking results for the vast majority of positions .....  unlike some of the tats one sees these days!

Well, she has thought about it, even her nail polish is colour coordinated, and the tattoo is not even finished yet !

I would like to see the finished tattoo, I reckon it will look amazing when it's done.

Tattoos are an example of how people thinks just for today, what if she gets fat?  what about when the skin is full of wrinkles?

Of course, it can be useful: "look my granddaughter this is the reason why you don't want to get a tatoo"
I shall pass this way but once;
any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.
