I naturally share your sentiment when it comes to Just17. And didn't Wilde too?
The old believe everything; the middle-aged suspect everything; the young know everything.
I haven't checked, but this slightly overused quote is most appropriately said to come from
Phrases and Philosophies for the use of the Young (1894). In other words: Wilde thought about Just17.
