Installation Stuck
« on: February 03, 2013, 07:53:04 AM »
I keep being asked for root login and password on installation. Since when does that occur. Never had this happen before. No matter what I type in there it wont accept it. Never had this happen on an install!Whats the problem

On the installation It has to do with the video drivers. Have they upped the system Requirements up? Just loaded the December release with no problems. Typed in startx and got error message saying nvidia module wont load.

By the way it is the newest release 2/2013. Just reloaded the 12/2012 one and works fine. It is the KDE version.

Start at the beginning, and give a step by step, up to the point where you see the message. Before that, list the specifications for the machine you are trying to install on.

Remember, only you can see your machine, we can't, so all we have to go on is the information you give us. The more detail the better. If you see error messages, quote the entire message. Something like, or it's about, doesn't cut it. We need the exact error message, just as you see it.
