I never cared much about these smartphones but now I want one!  If it was only to piss of Apple while waiting for their patent claims.

while i highly criticize the phones made by rim(please read that as in i hate all their crap), i find interesting this new offer because it looks like a android implementation with some nice changes

it looks very interesting

however, if they don't bring back lots of developers to port or make new apps, this is a waste of resources and time, this is their last breath

Well uT6, it is known that I like Blackberry.

If you take the time to look at all the promos, more than I shared here.... it does seem like they might have a winner here.

I like the work & personal side, as one of many good things about it.

...and they do have way more people writing apps for it, than before.

I'm content with Blackberry being number three.  Just as long as they are serious contender.

in fact i already made a couple posts showing videos of the new interface and the device itself in another two posts

still it is unknown if people will react positively as they need them so they can recover market share and earn cash they urgently need, they at the moment, are in the bottom after windows phone afik, and that is really bad

i must say that the phone without the keyboard looks like a iphone clone and the one with the keyboard looks like a bb 9900, a not good at all phone, time will tell

a enormous amount of blackberry users buy those phones because it has a physical keyboard

the bb9860 didn't had one, i used it and it was nice but basically nobody bought it

they are king on keyboards and people demand phones with keyboards because those keyboards are supposedly the most ergonomic and better quality keyboards available(don't ask my opinion on those keyboards) so this bb, the Q10 will be popular of the bb10 line succeeds



what i find nice is that they removed the trackpad/touch thing, it is not there anymore and this means that they will support alot the touchscreen and forget that trackpad that is a really bad idea

the gui still looks like a weird marriage between android 4 and ios, but seems to work

i just found this article talking about the good an the bad on the new bbs, worth to read
