Android Tablets
« on: January 30, 2013, 03:53:33 AM »
Hi to all,
Is PCLinuxos going to supply an interface to the Android tablet systems.
At the moment I have had to install win7 on one system to do this.
Your thoughts on this matter greatfully received.

latest version of android devices expose files and folders in them through a protocol called "mtp".

kde 4.10 will have native support for this protocol and hence you can access your device "natively" in kde 4.10 when it comes out.

In the meantime, you can look at january magazine. It has an article on how to access android devices in pclinuxos.

you can get the magazine here: http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,112180.0.html
