Unfortunately, many, if not all, of the chemical manufacturers consider themselves reasonable if they take the attitude of, "If it kills everything, we'll take it off the market."
“Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.”

All this kulling of Natural resources as a hypnotic marketing tool by soulless Businesses (Colonies) for urban dwellers scared of, or wanting of, something processed is an interesting battle. Preying upon the ideal of a Ant, Bee, Bug free household with lovely wooden, metal, plastic, Tech items; furnaced from forests and dirt will be what really establishes if the Nature of our Nature looses to the Nature of our World.

Are we Civilized enough to stop the gravy train ?   ::)  Plus they dump those Poisons in the Sea, and ground anyway, cos it's cheaper. ( Yes, the cough medicine does seem to be working, thankyou, ...

I will sign it.

Bees are important
There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

I must say that I'm very disappointed by the response this thread has received here. Only 60 views so far for such an important issue.
By the way I didn't realise by the topic's title it's a thread about a petition and peeked here just out of curiosity.

Yaaaah!!

Got this email today
============

Dear friends,

Last week we heard the tremendous news -- the European Commission recommended banning three deadly bee poisons, and EU lawmakers told us our massive 2.2+ million petition played a major role! It's a huge tipping point in the battle to stop the chemical armageddon for bees, and while the pesticide companies could still try to block it before the final vote, our 19+ million strong global community is standing by and we'll keep pushing toward a win.

Meanwhile the Avaaz community is rallying for an oil showdown in the Amazon -- read below or click here , and help us win our next campaign!

Yeah, the count reached   2,490,459  eventually  :D

This article is worth reading

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2013/jan/31/eu-proposes-ban-insecticides-bee

and it might incite residents in those countries that oppose the ban to contact their representatives and voice their opinion.

The next stage in the process is underway ......  please do the same again and support the ban ....  urge our ministers to support the ban despite the lobbying against it.
