EDIT: found some info

The scanfile that Kaffeine downloads for DTT is outdated.

I had thought there might be something that could be done within the distro .....  but apparently not.

That was 9th Jan 2013 so hopefully we will see an updated file soon.

No, upload happens manually. I will take care of an update.

It appears that some distros and others who use the scan file are maintaining their own up to date versions because of this problem.

Hopefully the main file will be updated soon.

I wonder if it might be an idea to keep this file separate .... on the same basis as a firmware file .....  so it could be updated without it causing an update of the application/s using it.
