Not just British... all non-US users, presumably US citizens' information can only be accessed with a warrant.

     Commercial and industrial espionage for use anytime that suits the US?Next we'll be told such data can't be used for personal financial gain.If everyone adopts the same attitude as the US,ie:guilty, we can assume corruption using such data will be widespread.

      I assume this information passes through GCHQ Cheltenham in the UK before the US gets to look at it.It wouldn't surprise me if the information the US gets to look at has been filtered prior to being permitted to the rest of the world by the UK.You can't trust anyone these days especially the public wherever they may be.
