Well, I have been out out of the Army for a little over 40 years so I don't even recognize that thing.

I must admit though that since I gave up local radio and TV over 4 years ago, and  have a functioning antenna mast and rotor on the roof, I have been thinking that I ought to mount something similar looking on that mast that I can rotate from here since it would augment my CCTV system quite nicely.

I would not want it to be real, just scary looking since these days, they keep trying to ban "scary looking" guns and their accessories every time we turn around.

Of course, it would be fun to make it fire paint-balls so that I could do something about that jerk that keeps dumping trash trial editions of the local newspaper that I detest on my driveway.

I always wanted a twin 50 cal. ball turret mounted on my roof, just to give the neighbors pause to think, before complaining about the grass being uncut.  ;D

Try complaining to anyone in Europe bout it... this will put your speed to test on a short distance... But that's how it is... Unlocking phones is illegal, anyone can come and complain about your grass being uncut... doesn't happen in Europe. We mind our own business and we do not stick nose in other peoples "lawns"...

The first officer finds Turley and the teen in a neighbourhood, standing in Turley's driveway. The officer calmly tells the boy to put down the weapon and Turley to put down the camera. He doesn't draw his gun.
Officer James Holmes, a police spokesman, said Turley told the officer they were just filming a movie, and the officer took down their names and left.

Well done, Officer James Holmes.
