New PC old HD

I'll be getting a new pc in a few days and i'm selling my old desktop i was wondering when i swap out the hd from this current pc into the new 1 is there anything i would have to do so that pclinuxos can pick up the new hardware information or is that done automatically?

for some users it works without much problems

for others the system will not boot

something you should do before remove the hard disk is change video drivers form the ones you have to vesa, so there is no conflicts with video settings

When installing the edu remaster at schools some PC's  didn't boot from the USB and only had CD reader (not DVD reader) so it was a common practice to install from my son's laptop and put the HD back in the computer, never failed.

And yes, use the VESA drivers, but even if you forget you can always fix it later.
