[Solved]Unable to install LXDE via LiveCD or Live USB to my netbook!

Equipment:  Acer Aspire One D270 series with Intel Atom N2600 Processor. 1 GB Memory.

After using KDE for a while, I decided to try LXDE.  After burning the ISO, I tried it as a second OS on my destop HDD. I love LXDE so much that I wanted to install it on my netbook.   Using an external CD drive at first then  a external DVD drive, I get as far as the "Booting the system" screen with the progress bar at the far right of its limit.  Minutes go by and still no progress.  Half hour, same thing.  The selling point to LXDE was that it is optimized (my wording) for netbooks!  Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

By booting the livecd, push <esc> key, you will see some messages.
What is the last comment?

The word OK is shaded in green. the number of spaces between Localhost and OK has been shortened for simplicity.

Can you try by kernel option with No ACPI, to set it, push <f6> key.

Any changes?

At what point should I press the <F6> key?  When the progress bar reaches the right hand side?  Earlier in our correspondence, I forgot to inform you that I am relatively new to Linux.  I've been with KDE for a few months now!

In the past, I had been using the "Install PCLinuxOS" option, because I want LXDE as my only OS on the hard drive.

Did you not first checking, via livecd, that want lxde run on your  Acer Aspire One D270?

Then try <f3> on boot up, and choose No ACPI

Will it not working try boot safe mode, and
type XFdrake <enter>, choose your video card.

Daniel,
I tried the 3 suggestions you gave me yesterday.  Here are the results:

1.  I cannot experience a live "session", so I cannot install from there.

2.  Pressing <F3> at boot gives me choices of screen resolution.  No ACPI option.

3.  After selecting Boot Safe Mode, my screen went blank,not even a flashing cursor!  Not being able to type in XFdrake and select my video card.

LXDE is installing now, but wont start?!?
Choose your kde Livecd and open follow file on your lxde installation...

Still no live session!

Thinking it is the kernel, that makes trouble. I send you a pm with a link with lxde-mini with older kernel...
