Firehouse Chili
« on: January 24, 2013, 12:09:49 PM »

I've seen 50 recipes for chili and a dozen for cornbread.
Even store bought chili with some extra chili powder and
the bakery style cornbread cures a winter cold.

Yea, it might do in a pinch. But there is nothing like making if from scratch on your own!

Makes me remember "back in the day" when the wife, kids, and I went late fall camping.  I made a tripod, hung a cast iron pot over a camp fire.  It didn't matter how much chilli was made, it never was enough.

I freaking LOVE it!  I would use brown sugar instead of honey but this is an awesome recipe for Chili.

Thanks YCT!  ;D

P.S. probably leave out the beens if poring over a hot dog.  ;)
