Mmmmm-good  a sandwich made with peanut butter and marshmallow creme. Bet it would be good with sliced bananas too.

You are a genius YCT. I have bananas !  ;D  and one will be added to the next sandwich I make.
I use country white bread. The nice heavyweight kind of bread. Then peanut butter and Marshmellow Fluff. However, I love butter so I add a layer of that first. It makes my mouth water. YUM YUM YUM !!!

Glass of milk of course to wash it down. If i had some, I would add bacon. You have not lived until you have added bacon to a Fluffernutter sandwich.  ;D ;D ;D

It's probably all in my head but somehow "Marshmallow Creme" doesn't seem to be the same as "Marshmallow Fluff".  I grew up smack in the middle of Long Island.  We had marshmallow FLUFF there.  I moved to Kentucky and all I can get is marshmallow creme.  It just doesn't taste the same.  Could it be my taste buds are older now?  :)

As much as I love bacon.  Just bought a 4-pack at Costco.....

I love peanut-butter (heck, I'll eat peanut-butter right from a heaping tablespoon) , march-mellows, and sliced bananas.  But bacon on that... hmmm..?

It has to be FLUFF.    Marshmellow Creme is.....well.....not the same.

you know, sometimes i have a hard time understanding some posts here, i had to discover what a fluffernutter was

fortunately wikipedia helped me with it and described the ingredients

now, that i'm on a diet, i can't enjoy such pleasures, i'm going to eat a cookie, a diet one, will try to dream when i can have that marshmallow cream  :D

this forum is definitively fun and educational

for those who need the fluff

http://whatscookingamerica.net/Candy/MarshmallowFluff.htm

for those who need the marshmallows

http://whatscookingamerica.net/Candy/Marshmallow.htm

the difference seems to be the gelatin added and the type of sugar and the water
