I have gotten an e-mail after I changed my Facebook password but it would give a link to undo it in case someone else hacked my account.  I have also gotten a couple of e-mails like that after a couple of failed attempts to change my password.  Someone else did try but I went into Facebook and made sure no other computers were logged into my account which put a stop to that.
Turn off your computer and do something useful.
