OOps, I lost my trashcan. How can I get it back?[SOLVED]
« on: January 21, 2013, 01:28:06 PM »
Running 3.2.18 LXDE.  While trying to empty the trash, I clicked on the Delete in the menu pop-up and the whole trashcan disappeared.  I can't find a way to bring it back.  Help?  Not urgent.
(Sort of a nuisance like Jack of SG1 as they approach Earth "Now Carter, I can see my house!")

i delete mine, just to clear off the screen ;)

If you open up your PCManFM file manager, there's a trashcan  in the left column. You can look at, or "empty" the contents there.

There is an option called (moment....) in German (Wiederherstellen) , restore in the right click menu, you must choose the trashcan desktopfile...

I'm not finding this option called moment.  I'm running LXDE.  What screen might I find this option?  I've looked at pretty much every screen and must have over-looked it.

Okay forget it...
Open a terminal, and copy'n'paste follow command
Code: [Select]
cp /etc/skel/Desktop/trash.desktop ~/Desktop
