LXDE full download, odd characters in menu[SOLVED]

I downloaded and checked the md5sum.  The main choices menu that pops up after starting the boot process (maybe Grub?) has a lot of strange characters.  Is the whole iso having issues or is the problem just this menu?

I know if put on an Unetbootin USB, the spaces in the Unetbootin menu are translated to graphical characters.
Edit syslinux.cfg, remove the spaces in the menu title and put a normal one back.

On the standard Live CD you should have no problems.
