Some interesting choices. I guess people from different parts of the world will have choices that others may never have heard of. I will list mine. Also the genre of music you like will greatly influence people as well if they are musicians or not.

Ok I shut up now and make my choices.  ::) ::) ::) Not necessarily in any particular order.

   Santana - Abraxas
   Ten Years After - Shhhhh
   Jaco Pastorius  -Punk Jazz
Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key Of Life
   Creedence Clearwater Revival - CCR
   Grand Funk - Grand Funk
Alice Cooper - Welcome To My Nightmare
   The Beatles - Sgt' Peppers
   The Animals - Animal Tracks
The Guess Who - So Long, Bannatyne

Whoa! Not even going to try this off the top of my head ;D
Not sure I could do just 10 in less than a week or three :D
Would be hard enough to pick ten bands let alone 10 albums. ;)
It would be a rather eclectic list though, I'm sure of that.

"The Sisters Of Mercy". They do a very dark version of "Gimme Shelter"
My favorite song from Accept would have to be "Winter Dreams"

Ten Years After - I'm Going Home - from Woodstock (listening to it as I type, all 11:24 of it ;D)

Plan to be spontaneous tomorrow.

In no particular order:

Beatles - Abbey Road
Beatles - Revolver
Beatles - White Album
Beatles - all the others  :)
Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Spandau Ballet - Journey's To Glory
Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
Supertramp -  Breakfast In A America
Paul McCartney - Tug Of War
ELO - Discovery

I'm a big Beatles fan but didn't want to fill all ten spots with their albums

10?  Just can't do it.  Where is the Dark side of the Moon etc etc etc how can 10 been anything but a vary short list.  Then there is driving music and head phone music etc.  I mean if your going to take a drive in your lead sled it has to be Purple's machine head @ level 10.  Or at least led 4 and misty mountain hop.

I had a hard time with 10. It could be a lot more but what the heck, I threw some down.

Restricting it to 10 does make it tough.  I had to leave a lot of favorites off the list, but here goes in alphabetical order:

Abbey Road - Beatles
American Beauty - Grateful Dead
Born To Run - Springsteen
Breakfast in America - Supertramp
Deja Vu - CSNY
Highway 61 Revisited - Bob Dylan
Let it Bleed - Rolling Stones
The First Songs - Laura Nyro
Volunteers - Jefferson Airplane
Wings Over America - Wings

I wanted to put a Macca/Wings album in my list and had a choice of four. Wings Over America was one of the choices along with Band On The Run, Back To The Egg and the one I went with, Tug Of War. Wings Over America was a great live triple album

OK,, everybody is giving it a shot here I go....

This is from my list of favorites that you might have heard of.  ;)

In no particular order.

Beatles - Abby Road
Beatles - Sargent Pepper
Pink Floyd - Dark Side
Pink Floyd - Brick In The Wall

Gosh,, That's 4 already,,,, this is hard!!

ELO - Time
Saga - Worlds Apart
Fleetwood Mac - Rumors
Heart - Dreamboat Annie
Donald Fagen - The Nightfly

I can't pick a last one,,, there's probably 100 to chose from and I just can't do it.   ;D ;D ;D

Ok,,

Journey - Dream After Dream

Yes, THAT Journey...

I picked that album because it consisted mostly of "World" music that was very uncharacteristic of the band and is so unknown.

The band showed talent on that album that their popularity overshadowed and in my mind, after hearing it in the 80's, held them back.

I have it on 1/2 speed mastered vinyl.  ;)

There is not a single "hit" off that album.  ;D
