gMTP
« on: January 18, 2013, 10:35:01 AM »
Hello:

A request to get gMTP was submitted here; http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,104271.0.html but nothing else was ever said.

Was it not packaged but time is just not available? Or perhaps because of its dependencies?

Am I missing an announcement somewhere?  I did a search and couldn't find anything on why it was not packaged.  I assumed because of time, since the packagers are probably working in an "OT" mode to roll out the much anticipated 64 bit PCLinuxOS.

If that is the case, then PLEASE focus on the 64 bit PCLinuxOS!!  It should be the priority.

If it was just a slip, well not even Tex is perfect, Scoundrel, maybe, but not Tex. (ducking and running for my life!)

is it the package to handle mtp devices like smartphones?

if nobody packaged it could be because there is no one that can package it at the moment

you know that pclinux is made by a small group of persons, working voluntarily in their free time to keep distro updated and working well so keep everything in order is hard to do
