Well, what people like me didn't understand is... that this whole thing can be a bit confusing.
I bought a Samsung 128-gig SSD drive and installed win7pro onto it. It all worked fine.
I had some issues. So instead of trying to fix them, I decided to wipe. format & re-install win7pro. That is where problems started. I spent 2 days trying to fix this & in windoze again.
(need to interject... those two days I was in the bios massively, on phone to friends, and Googling)
Took the ssd harddrive back to the computer store where I bought it, and asked them for help. The guy says it's just fine. I said, you are wrong. Please, low-level format it for me. He did... all this cost me nothing.
Went to sales and bought an Intel 120-gig ssd hardrive (faster writing speed). Went home and tried to install win7pro onto the Samsung 128-gig ssd. It was going to take..!
But I popped it out, put in the Intel 120-gig ssd, and installed onto it. Sold the Samsung 128-gig to my younger son.
I'm happy, he's happy... heck, the whole world might be happy, who knows.............
