Yes, I have, and maybe it does, but the question remains. Surely a web browser should either contain or link to libraries that contain image codecs, not look for a helper application, and certainly not another web browser. The implication is that FF needs IE to supply some of its basic functionality, and that can't be right.

Maybe installing Wine changes some settings ........   ::)

Any idea about FF/TB associations on a non-wine system?
