Battery monitor. (SOLVED)

I've installed LXDE 2012.12 and am in the process of customising it.

There are a couple of improvements over my previous version (2012.06 - upgraded of course) The touch pad works properly without my having to add code, and F4&F5 control the screen brightness - but I cannot find a battery monitor.  On the earlier version it appears as a green/yellow bar at the right hand end of the lower panel along with other items like the volume control and network monitor, but it's not there in 2012.12.  

The three applications that come up as installed when I search for "battery" in synaptic (apmd, acpi and batti) are present in both versions. I don't know which is responsible for the green/yellow bar, but I'd  like to have it back.

I just clicked the panel of my choice (the top panel in this case), clicked "Add/Remove Panel Items", clicked the "Add" button & selected "Battery Monitor'.



Then I moved it over a bit ;D

Thanks.  Why didn't I find that before I wonder, I thought I'd tried everything!

I prefer mine at the bottom where i'm used to it.

I can get rid of that US flag too, where do I find a Canadian one?

Sorry, can't help with the Canadian flag (would a NZ one do?  - both Commonwealth Countries  ;D)
My LXDE installation is right up to date and it has the green/yellow battery monitor at the bottom of the screen - next to the digital clock.

Right click on the panel at the bottom > click on Add and Remove Panel items and then scroll down and the battery monitor should be there just after System Tray and Digital Clock.

If you reinstall from the most recent version (2012.12), you'll find some stuff has been moved around a bit.  ;)
