How to use Nepomuk to search [SOLVED]
« on: January 13, 2013, 08:46:05 PM »
i'm trying to use Nepomuk to search.  i've set up the thing's control panel and it has been indexing for a couple of days now... sigh.  However i can't figure out how to search with the blasted thing.  i was hoping that Recoll had been fixed by now, but i still can't use it because of some repo problem:  Error from Synaptic:  "Depends: libxapian.so.15  but it is not installable".

i usually use Krusader to manage my files so i don't know what i'm missing in order to do a simple (well maybe not so much) search on my files.

Any ideas?  Have a great evening!  :)

Never mind.  i figured out i had to d/l a bunch more of KDE, especially Dolphin - just what i needed, another file browser and now i've been searching just fine.

Thanks for all you good wishes and have a wonderful evening!  :)
