I had a brief look at one of the available services ... System_Tools-build-custom-kernel
The script contains 31 instances of sudo
This could not have been checked or tested before inclusion in PCLOS
I have not tried any of the other services to see if they could work or not.
EDIT: Had a quick look at the kernel update checker ...... and this uses "yumdownloader" ....... so again never checked for PCLOS!
