The other day I did a package request for the Netflix viewing program.  The last post on the request said "sent to Dropbox".  What does that mean???

Packagers send everything to Neal's dropbox account. This means it is done. But then Neal will build it on his machine and then send it to the testing, then on to the main repos if there are no problems with the build.

Thank you gseaman!  I was not trying to hurry it or anything like that.  I adhere to "Its ready when its ready" rule.

It was in the testing repo not long after that. I installed it from there, and it seems to be working fine. Not sure when/if it might make an appearance in the normal repo.

Hey BobK54,

On the off chance you're unfamiliar with the testing/test section entry

In Synaptic go to Settings > Repositories and in the Section field  add the word testing - so it reads

main updates nonfree kde games xfce4 testing

If you don't use games and/or xfce4 you can remove them so it reads:

main updates nonfree kde testing

If you are using the 64bit KDE RC1 (Release Candidate One) and want to add the test section it should read :

x86_64 kde xfce4 test

and without the xfce entry

x86_64 kde test

As you can see above  the repos use different directory names regarding test packages;

32bit is testing

64bit is just test

Hope that helps

PCLinuxOS 32bit KDE 4.10.1; kernel-3.4.11-pclos1.bfs & 64bit 3.2.18bfs; NVidia GeForce 8400GS 1GB 310.19 driver

Just tested it and it works fine. I don't though have a clue as to where it is in the menu. I looked in Video and Wine Programs but didn't see it. I managed to start it by doing a search for it but that didn't tell me where it is located. First time you run it be patient. Wine has to do updated down loads and some configuration before it runs. that took about ten minutes.
