sound in lxde?

I had to reload the system so i burnt a new iso for lxde. On my old version i had sound and a mixer. on the newest version i have no sound on startup,. streaming videos such as hulu and utube. I tried to set up pulse audio but it continues to tell me

pulseaudio (>= 0.9.7)

  that it needs this file first. as for the mixer I have

gmixer

  but can get it to do nothing. Can anyone give me a heads up on this if they have figured out the problem.

You are using in the past pulseaudio?

Search in synaptic for task-pulseaudio, and install it, after this you have to enable pulseaudio
under pcc > hardware >  Sound configuration > enable pulseaudio.
Now you have to reboot your system, to get it proper working.

I thank you man. I will give it a try on another hd. I put full monty back on this one as a duel boot and it going ok with the sound. appricate the help. I got 2 more hd's installled on this tower so i got more to bargin with.
