SOLVED Pdf reader
« on: January 10, 2013, 08:21:32 AM »
I have been sent some pdf documents that have been created with links built in. These are video and web links I was wondering if anyone can recommend some software that is capable of reading pdfs and has the ability to run the video and access the web links? Thanks.

Gary

Okular (for KDE) and Evince (for GTK, Xfce, LXDE) are the first ones that come in mind but there are several more.

FoxitReader also is very good.

Links in your documents will open in your system's default browser.

I downloaded Evince which does what I was looking for. I initially tried Foxit but that wouldn't access the embedded links.

Thanks
