Not very likely. Gorillas do feed on meat but it's not in the form you might think. A "Grasshopper" (might) be on the menu but these guys like their healthy diets.

Depending on how you look at that chart, it seems to say that humans have remained the same and all the others have split off from us, at one time or another.  All up need to do is straighten some lines...
