Even the physics guys are beginning to think there may be ways around it.  They have theorized at least two ways that would not violate the laws of physics.  Trouble is, no one has the slightest idea how to go about it.  Or generate  the power needed to do it.

Harvesting is the word, not generating. The universe is one BIG powerhouse.
When we suffocate from burning oil and coal (and the oilmen can´t make money any longer out of it) , the hidden secrets has to come out. It´s nothing new, just suppressed in favor of a few.
Maybe then these few can be shot some thousands of light years away from us, ensuring not an other repeat.  :P

Everyone seems to assume the law of physics which we believe to be indisputable is in fact a universal given. There is no way to know what we consider absolute is indeed that.

This is true however, if we are to throw what we "believe" to be true out the window, then we are talking about science fiction, where we can just dream up all manor of cool stuff.

Why are we even wasting time worrying about aliens when we have such a huge
zombie problem right here on earth? (most of which are coming out of liberal
arts universities)
