It's a never ending Linux problem ! I'm suffering with this problem for a very long long time !
It was not a very serious problem since i was printing occasionally one or two sheets, but now, i have a lot of stuff to print and this is driving me mad!
I have three printers, an EPSON Stylus DX 4400 , HP OfficeJet 5510 and an HP Deskjet 5500 and they have all the same problem. Since i'm using EPSON the most, i want understand why this is happening and solve it's problem.
It's not a recent problem, like i wrote before, i have this issue for ages and my PCLinux OS is updated.
Comparing the printer performance in Linux to Windows, it's comparing a jet plane with a turtle ! Quality is also an issue since i cannot use the printer on Linux to print rendering pics or photos... only text, sloooooooowwwwly...
Can you point me to the right direction to solve this problem ?
