JRex knows how much I love knives. She doesn't understand it, but she knows.

My b-day is in February but she ordered my gift early and showed me what it was.

How can you know nothing about knives and still "nail" this as a b-day gift?

It seems like a BIG knife but look here... It's actually quite small.

Rudge, your either a very lucky guy, or, one day going to have a bit of a Nasty Accident with one of those amazing knives. :D 
Hopefully, as I'm sure is the case, it's all just good fun. Actually, what do you do with all those knives. When I was a teenager I loved knives, nowadays one or two cooking (carving) knives does the trick.
If I was caught carrying one around here I'd be fined, bummer hey !

Actually, I'd be worried if my wife (EX) was pre ordering knives for my Birthday.    ;D  ;D
