So glad to be here SIX years later! PCLinuxOS friggin' absolutely ROCKS!!!
Thank you ALL for your kindness, insight, goodness, inspiration and fair amount of humor!

Thank you YouCanToo (David) for giving me the desktop background that changed my computing life.

It may not seem like much for some. but it means SO very much to me!

Big Daddy (PCLinuxOS .93a) Thank you! Thank you!

Big +1 here. Started in early 2010, ran LXDE, Openbox, XFCE and now KDE. And on a laptop. No issues, works out of the box, as I've gotten more used to running it, have installed from the mini versions so I can install what I want. And not have to put up with stuff I don't need.

Bacon team, keep up the good work!

I installed an SSD in my work laptop so instead of install a remaster (I made it in case something went wrong) I installed the new LXDE 2012.12 and what a pleasant surprise, it works flawlessly and several problems are completely fixed. I changed some things and is ready.

Thanks Daniel is a beautiful piece of work.

The things I changed was in the visual department, not that I didn't like it but I wanted my old configuration where I know where is everything.

I posted this because I think it's a great photo. It's taken in the New York Subway.

That subway shot looks like the cover of one of my Brecker Brothers lp's.

I found some info on that photo. I thought it had to be an old section.

There are many things to love about New York's venerable subway system, but eye-popping design ain't one of 'em.

Unless you know how to find the secret City Hall 6-train station, that is. Betcha' didn't know this underground cathedral was hidden under your feet this whole time (we sure didn't):

So how do you catch a glimpse of this awesomeness? All it takes is patience: Simply stay on the 6 train instead of getting off at Brooklyn Bridge, the last stop. The train actually makes a turnaround through City Hall station as it starts its return trip uptown.
