mylivecd script finished with no errors, saying the iso was created.
But in the working folder, mylive, there was only a livecd.sqfs in the
Livecd folder, along with the boot and isolinux folders, but no .iso file
So I used the live usb creator, and it successfully created the
live usb. edit: this was on a vintage kde 2012 minime, not the new one)
The first oddity I saw, was that the ibar app icons were missing,
and also were missing in the ibar app config panel. The ibox, systray,
and taskbar were fine. The favorites menu was also empty.
Comparing the contents of folders in the live-usb, to those they
were copied from, showed equality.
The main apps I use opened, and functioned normally. But internet connection
using wvdial failed, no error message, and the terminal showed it had
found the normal IP addresses, again, all is a duplicate, but not all is working.
Tried a root login, in case of permissions problems, but got the same behavior,
everything I checked, was identical. My system is updated, and works fine.
I did fail to add a name for the .iso in the above command. I'll try again
after re-formatting the stick to a single ext4. This attempt had a separate
/home partition, with a gig of space left, after the live-usb was created.

update: the livecd.iso was put in /home/name, I expected it
to be saved in the working directory, wherever that was.
