ktorrent not saving settings

hi there   i changed the paths for where i want ktorrent to store and save info, and hit apply and ok thought it was saved .  but everytime i start the program settings are back to default , i need to change them close prog and restart to use it and pickup where it left off?

this just started happening recently.

If you have active torrents they will finish in your old location.
But you can move them if you right click on the torrent and select "Move Data"

hello there   thank you    i tried this move data , but no change in program , it still defaults back and i need to change settings and restart for it too work...??

Settings -> Configure KTorrent -> Application -> Default Save Location

Just tried that and works. Moved my uploading torrents in another folder and set it as default save location.
Downloaded a new torrent and it goes to the new folder.
Yes, you need to restart KTorrent after the change to make it work

...or choose to have no Default Save Location, (leave the box blank) in which case you'll be asked where to save each d/l. I save according to content, and each type of content has its own directory within a separate partition, and sub directories to further refine within each type.

KTorrent always pops up a window with options when you add a new torrent.
In this window, you can also change the save location for the current torrent.
