[Solved] No Sound in Youtube

Title says it all please help movie is good and everything but sound ... not really and i used wine with a prog no sound there also help please  ???

Welcome aboard!

There is a section of the forum called Tips & Tricks which you should familiarise yourself with.
There is also a good search function which can find posts concerning similar problems to your own.

Using them both can save a lot of time.

omarlink - A while back I had the same problem with an Acer Aspire One laptop, I was able to play sound from everywhere except youtube.  Not sure if this will help you but my fix appears at the end of this thread.

From the View menu of the file manager (such as Dolphin) tick "Show Hidden Files" .....  or something similar with other file managers.

When playing a video right-click on the picture and uncheck "Hardware Acceleration".

You should be able to toggle between showing/hiding hidden files by pressing the F8 key. Otherwise it's in the "View" menu as Just17 said  ;)

by the way with the compiz some effects wont hapen with animations like "burn" when closing a window
