I also encountered this problem.
On the link above, it says that the problem has been fixed in the new version of gamin.
Can we hope to update this package for PCLOS?
Do I need to make a request for an update?

I have just build an updated version of gamin including the RedHat patch and an additional patch and work done by TerryN. This version seems to work fine, TerryN may do some further testing, and when this is successful it will be coming to your repos.
