As I write this I am about 15 minutes from completion of a loaf of bread I have cooking in the oven. This is just plain white bread but right out of the oven with butter waiting on the counter. MMMM......MMMMM......GOOOOOOOOD !!!!!!!!!!

Like a witch in a broom closet...

Let me know if you need my recipe for tomato bread,
actually pizza bread with a twist.    And some bacon.

Bread done. Oven off. Knife out. Slices made. Butter on. Half loaf gone in minutes.

I feel so guilty...........well, ...not really.  :D

Fresh hot bread and butter. Tough to beat.
If only I could have had some bacon to put in the middle.  ::)

I'd go to a triple decker toast deal, melted cheese somewhere
in there.    BLT type of thing with tuna instead, sure is great.

grapefruit ?,  haven't heard of that since the Mayo Clinic, have mercy

Yes, I used to work in a restaurant.

Kid stuff to me, you know.

Don't worry JoeChimp I will make plenty bread tomorrow.  Will be making Bolillos, for making tortas. I just have to try it after seeing a post "crow" made about tortas.  Making buttermilk bread for the Alpaca women and her husband, he doesn't eat any thing else. (done weekly as we trade for her eggs)  Going to make Italian herb bread for Sunday Night spaghetti feed. To finish off the day I am making pretzel bread for a place called Norma Jeans, a small cafe. She is having a special using it. I will make enough to serve 50 people. (5-2 pound loafs) but I will toss in a extra one or two just in case they mess something up.  I really hate to be short.

Just think by the time I am done I will use 25 pounds of four or a bit over, 3/4 pound of salt, 1 1/2 pounds of sugar, 1 pound of yeast, 2 dozen eggs, a couple gallons of water and lots of spices

That should keep me busy for the day at least. :)

My breakfasts lately are juices made with green leaf vegetables (especially kale, fresh spinach, etc.) with some apples, carrots, beats, a pinch of ginger and lemon.  May not sound as appetizing but the results are indisputable.  I have lost 30 pounds since this summer and my energy level is so much better now.

Listen to what this guy says in this video.  I did:

Benefits of Juicing and Using Good Juicers?

Of course, this is not the only thing I eat, but a good green leafy juice a day (especially for breakfast) can do a world of good.  Your body will love you. ;)

Grilled cheese could be a menu item for tomorrow.  :D

I just made a home made tomato soup that would go well with a grilled cheese sandwich Joe.

It was pretty easy to do.

The "main" ingredients are stewed tomatoes, sautéed (onions carrots and celery) a blender, some cream, some water (to get the consistency right) and some brown sugar.

You should be able to piece it together. ;)

It WAS worth the effort!  ;) ;D ;D

The local Hotel has a weekend breakfast buffet.   All you can eat.
Everything - waffles, hot maple syrup, eggs, sausage and gravy, desserts.
I think it's only $12.95.

What an idea for this time of year.

Just the smells alone will fill you up.

I had some pretzel bread rolls a couple weeks ago. It was all I could do not to eat them all in one sitting. I love the taste.

I am so hungry again.  :D
