Crime DOES Pay
« on: December 26, 2012, 11:38:55 AM »
For Xmas dinner yesterday, we had duck with all the trimmings. Delicious. The rest of the duck was put under a cover to go cold for snacks over the next day or two.
One of our cats had different ideas. We were sat in the lounge when we hear a crash from the kitchen. Yes, you've guessed it. One duck in the middle of the floor with a cat stood over it.
We can't waste it, so they get the rest.  :D

Too bad. If you were the only one that noticed it, it never happened. Like the 5 second if food drops to the floor.  ;D
The Sandbox is a great place to get out of the rain and into the sand.

At the time, my options seemed to be:

1. Eat the duck.

2. Throw the duck away.

3.Give the duck to the cats.

4. Eat the cat.

When I was young I remember an incident with a turkey.

When Thanksgiving dinner was over my mother would cover over the pan with the half of turkey left, with aluminum foil. Where we lived at that time had a hallway that was always cool by the side door. She would put it  in there until she was able to clean it off the bone. One smart cat we had, managed to sneak out there when she put it in the hall and hid behind  something as to not be noticed. You can guess the rest . My Mother went out to get it and there was the cat with a hole burrowed in the aluminum foil His head inside. Devouring the turkey.

I think we still ate the other side.  :o ::) :D
There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

Our two cats know that they are not allowed on the kitchen work surfaces. That's probably why she had pulled it off the plate and onto the floor. Crafty sod most likely thought she would get away with it if she wasn't on the surface.

Number 4 seems good, cat stuffed with duck  ;D
