Netflix in testing x64 gives blank screen
« on: April 25, 2013, 04:10:51 PM »
Works fine in KDE x32
In KDE x64 installs okay from test, initial Netflix screen comes up and you can choose the video you want to watch. It loads but you only get sound and a black screen.
Running on Asus M4A78LT-M LE AMD 760G Socket AM3 Integrated ATI Radeon 3000 8 Gb RAM with Catalyst driver
Any ideas appreciated

try resize the browser window and see if it helps.

clicking the maximize button and the restore button should do the trick. This is what i do when the silverlight object shows up and i get sound but no video.
.. 3 things are certain in life : death, taxes and software bloat ..
.. tell me something i don't know, something i can use as i struggle to reason with the world around me ..

Hi muungwana, thanks for reply. I just tried that but it remains stubbornly just plain black.

Still the same, all updates applied.
Any other ideas appreciated as other than this I am ready to move to x64 as I am finding it is generally faster than the x32 pclinuxos
Thanks
