Problem hosting a torrent
« on: December 24, 2012, 02:24:45 PM »
I created my first torrent yesterday but I don't seem to have any upload ability. Not having any issue with standard torrents.

Is there something else I need to do? It's a standard, non-tweaked 32bit PCLOS installation.

I think that is a well meant but nevertheless bad idea (some will come out and tell the details). Why not support the original torrents by seeding them?

This isn't a PCLOS torrent, or to put another way, a torrent of PCLOS.

OIC ..... Well for uploads I use Krusader (nice tool).   There got to be many other ways.

It might be a port forwarding issue but if so that baffles me because I regularly seed torrents I haven't originated.

The one I've created isn't uploading at all even though I know there are 'leechers 'out there trying to get it. Been a couple of days now and zero upload.

More like the config of the torrent program itself - you need to send out announcements etc to torrent listings - the forum for which P2P your using may have better answers.
