Skype not receiving video!!

Hi all,
Im using KDE4 fully updated till yesterday,
i used to use skype with no problems and used to make video calls with no problems what so ever... havent done that for a long time and when i tried today i couldnt see the other side video even he recieved mine fine!!!
i tried disabelling the desktop effects"KWIN", tried uninstalling the normal version and installing the static version instead... but no changes...my video working and the other side's video not!!
what can i do??
Hope that one day ill be able to help as much as I'm being helped now...

Nope... happened with all the people who tried to video chat with me even they could see each other when tried... we had a group trial about this((
plz guys i need help urgently with this

What is shown when you go through the Skype Options and enable the camera?

My cam is enabled and working fine btw...
also i enabled the video receiving from any body!!
but i dont receive video((

There used to be a service (bill-on-skype-video-echo) to check the video part of the call - not provided by Skype - but it was taken down about a year ago.

Best I can suggest is to use two PCs/smartphones/whatever and two accounts, and call one to another to check out your settings.

.....  wonder if it is a video codec problem ....
