How to change the default cursor theme?
« on: December 22, 2012, 07:11:16 PM »
Hi to all!

I'd like to change the default log in mouse cursor theme.
It might appear like a silly thing, nevertheless It's not just I like, but, due to my eyes problems, I need a more visible theme, for example Oxygen Zion or Wanderland 48 p like I use once logged in.
Ok, once logged in no problems, but it happens I'm using also Enlightenment. Again, here it can be customized...
But...
...Once opened a window - file manager, browser... - inside the window the cursor theme turns to the standard log in type and size. Both MiniMe and Full version cursor themes are too small and difficult for my sight.

How can I solve this problem? ::)

Thanks for any help.

I'm using KDE, E17 and Xfce.
It's not a big deal customizing all things; this is like drinking a coffee.
What I need is an other cursor theme in the log in screen, the default installation theme.

are you using kdm as the log in screen?

that can be configured in configure your desktop/system administration/login screen

you can change the theme there

i don't see a way to change the cursor theme used in that screen, maybe this is controlled by the cursor theme selected as root
