Trying to reuse an old HP nx9005 notebook I have a problem with font display errors on desktop.

I do not have the faintest idea, where to look ... 
Graphic chip is RS 100 (Radeon IGP 320M) - Driver ATI Radeon X1950.
Any suggestion ??

Old intels sometimes need "DebugWait" "true"
in the xorg.conf
Don't know how to do that for a very old Radeon.
Your fps will decrease as it double takes the input before
it outputs, but the fonts will be crystal clear. Not bad
except for movies.
