I woke up this morning and though that,s it I am in heaven.
The reason behind this is
One the End of the world has happened as I believe in any crazy story that comes along.
Two I must be in Heaven as I am so good at every thing.
So I get up, look at my wife and say well I expected that being the most gullible person in the world and the best I would have the same wife in Heaven. :D
But then I looked in the workshop and realized I was in Hell. ???
None of the projects I had started had been finished, the floor still had swarf and saw dust on from the day before.
And worst of all that damned car still will not start.

Ok Ok the moral is NO it did not end, NO I am not that good, in fact quite bad.
And YES my wife is still the best in the world!!

Happy Christmas to all the members and if you see me in the new years just wink, then I will know that you know that I am not that good.

As I write this, it is 2141 NZ Daylight time on December 21. Therefore is a little over 2 hours, it will be December 22 here. And, we are still here.

Happy Holiday season to everyone in PCLinuxOSLand - the place where the Mayan Calendar doesn't apply.

For fun; I guess; this site has a countdown. I'll miss it though, as I'll be asleep. It'd be after 4 am when this hits 0. http://december212012.com/

"The connection has timed out
The server at december212012.com is taking too long to respond."

So the End has probably reached the server's location, wherever that may be ... (Antares?)

Seeing they were hosted on rackspace.net doesn't surprise me.

Here is a prediction of mine....... The sun will continue to rise and the sun will set, wither or not we are around............

The sun didn't rise anywhere inside the Arctic Circle today. Could that be significant? Should I panic?

Either I'm alive or I'm not in hell: 6° C  my work room is cold.

Maybe we really are in a computer simulation and the reboot was flawless  :)

Edit. Reboot was 2 hours ago

::) ::) Somebody misread (misunderstood) the calendar. It wasn't the end of the world that was predicted. ::) It speaks of the end of an age and the beginning of a new age.

Of course people would rather talk doom.

I've got plans to spend some holiday time with my granddaughters. :D Ya'll celebrate the end of the world, if you want. I'll enjoy time with family.

I'm going to Atlanta on the 24th to be with my family.

None of us ever considered postponing.  ;D

You guys have fun!!!

Happy Holidays to all!!!!

The december212012.com site now says:

We have entered a new era in our existence.
A new beginning.
A renewed enlightenment.

We have entered a time of peace and harmony,
hope and change,
love and understanding.
and a time of desire and ability to take back what has been taken from us. . . our dignity as human beings.

We will no longer be subjected to tyrannical governments,
man made religious directives
and human degradation.
We will stand as one against evil and injustice and pursue our right to exist in a free and just world.

The time has come.
The time is now,
the scales have tilted
and the power is now with the people.

Touching isn't  it? lol. no. Funny thing is, that site is saying 'BUY NOW!!!!!!" Survival kits, etc... and t-shirts. Yes, we need a t-shirt that has 2012 on it.
Going back a little, if the world ends in 6 hours, I wonder how fast they can ship my stuff? if they're late, do I get a refund?

To me, I tend to see this as a fictional thing; something to get hyped up about, drink, do whatever, and party hard.  Not that we figured it's the end, but just a reason to party. "Until the next announcement on the last day."

Did it ever get serious with companies? "Department stores; out of this world savings!"
It's pretty much over. Until next time folks,
Technology changes. Human nature doesn't." -me
