End Of The World
« on: December 20, 2012, 08:20:34 PM »
Can someone tell me what time and time zone the end of the world will occur please ?

If it is to happen early tomorrow, I will have breakfast now.

I like a good breakfast. Would hate to miss it.

Guess lunch is out though. :-\
There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

I suppose whenever that day does come up, I'm sure you'll enjoy a good breakfast, maybe a lunch and dinner.
The world will go on. There will be a 2013, 14 etc etc...

Only God knows the last day. No human on Earth, not even the Son of God knows the last day. So rest easy.

For fun; I guess; this site has a countdown. I'll miss it though, as I'll be asleep. It'd be after 4 am when this hits 0. http://december212012.com/

Oh well, if I remember, I'll check the website tomorrow morning to see what it has to say.

Don't worry Joe,  I talked to my friend in Okinawa this evening and it is still here. By the way it is tomorrow there already.

Makes one stop and wonder just how many will be disappointed because these predictions of 12-21-12 don''t come true.  Now on to the next wacko prediction.  :o

Here is a prediction of mine....... The sun will continue to rise and the sun will set, wither or not we are around............

The Mayans and their calendar and time keeping are in the Central Time Zone in the USA.  6 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-6).
Not sure if it was supposed to end at the end of the 21st (ie 11:59PM) or 12:01AM at the start or sometime during the day. I just blocked out the whole day on my calendar as BUSY. Just in case............   :D

I was thinking the same thing.

I am on "Eastern" time so I guess I have another hour.

I should just take this insulin pump off and quit worrying about how the port snags on fishnet stockings.  ??? ::) ::)

Must have been a mistake in the calendar.  I give it until sometime early next year.

Somebody will figure it out and give us the "Correct" date. ;)

I will buy a treadmill tomorrow because it has a good discount and 18 months 0% interest rate, I guess they know that interest rate doesn't matter.
I shall pass this way but once;
any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

::) ::) Somebody misread (misunderstood) the calendar. It wasn't the end of the world that was predicted. ::) It speaks of the end of an age and the beginning of a new age.

Of course people would rather talk doom.

I've got plans to spend some holiday time with my granddaughters. :D Ya'll celebrate the end of the world, if you want. I'll enjoy time with family.
