Revisiting the blues...in Youtube.
« on: December 20, 2012, 08:38:21 AM »
Any progress getting this fixed? I've downloaded and installed a few other distros like Mint LMDE KDE, OpenSuse, and Kororaa and none of them had this flaw. Is there any hope of getting this fixed soon?

This issue is solved with the updated lib64vdpau1 0.5 on 64 bit.
A updated libvdpau1 to  0.5 is not in 32 bit repository yet.

Another option is to test the 310.19 driver (in testing section) and look if it solves the "smurfs issue"
The nvidia drivers have their own vdpau libraries.
