Yes, I did it so; but... for each program a separate launcher?
Even so, can't add everything I wish, for example the Trashcan.
I hate icons on desktop. ;D
So I want everything included in panel.  :D

Very interesting is that the root mode is not provided with a panel by default, meanwhile the user mode provide one. Both mine accounts have it installed. Curious...
Another problem I have is that in one of the user mode the CPU is ready to fly. ;D
I don't know why is at 70-80% having nothing open!!! Again, curious...
I dont know if, finaly, wouldn't better to reinstall the system (with or without xfce for now), but first I need something I'll state it out in an other thread.

I like Xfce too, but if don't work 'll remain with KDE and E17.

You can have a single launcher for all your programs. It will appear as a drop-down menu.

Of course the second panel is a solution that works for me.
There may be better solutions out there. You use what is good for you.

I hadn't realized that there is no default panel in root account. Good for you to spot it.
But have you done anything about it?
Have you created a thread about this problem to help people involved with Xfce know about it and maybe fix it?
ghostbunny is doing great work for Xfce and I'm sure he will be willing to look at it.

Regarding you CPU load problem... Is it something that appears only on Xfce?
I have Xfce installed on top of a KDE MiniMe 2012.08 installation and my CPU is on 3-4% on idle.
Have you checked your processes to see if one or some of them is using your CPU with no reason?

For the whole world, you are someone.

I'll open a thread in Xfce section.

I have two user accounts. The CPU load problem appear only in one of them and only in Xfce. Not in KDE, nor in E17.
Doesn't matter. I was toying a little bit arround with some programs - still don't know very well what programs to use. For instance: which is the best photo viewer/editor/manipulator beside Gimp, the best media player (here I have a problem: in Windows, if opens a music folder just click "play all" in the window manager and that's all. In Linux I dont se such an option in Dolphin or Thunar)...
I'll do a reinstall of the system now; just wait to come out the new PCLinuxOS release.
