Actually I like the snow when it is up in the mountains where it belongs. Luckily, where I live in Oregon, the mid Willamette valley (pronounced  Will-AM-it) it doesn't snow a lot or very much when it does.  We mainly get rain and lots of it, 40-45 inches annually.

We do, or so I thought until JRex and I got trapped in NY one year. That's when I realized that I had never really seen snow.

Golf ball sized flakes falling like a downpour and actually making a thud sound when they hit the ground.

Does it "snow" in NC? Yes.

Do we get "Snow",,, real snow?

I guess the answer is no.  ??? ::)

It is already gone, and is raining once again. Not only do we not get snow a lot or often, but it never lasts very long either
